To ground local believers in the biblical and historic Christian faith. We desire that God’s ancient truths be ever new in our lives. It is on these old, trustworthy paths that we find the antidote to modern chaos and confusion.

1. We are Trinitarian. We glorify the united work of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in all things. The Trinity is our foundation for properly understanding reality from a Christian worldview, for understanding theology, salvation, and the storyline of Scripture, and for living the Christian life.
2. We are Word-centered. We emphasize the Word of God in our song selections, public readings, and expositional preaching. We seek to responsibly interpret Scripture according to its language, genre, and context, and always with an eye to how to the text points us to Christ.
3. We are theological and practical. We seek to avoid the pitfalls of shallow emotionalism on one side and cold rigidity on the other. We desire to be doctrinally sound and deeply heartfelt; to be reverent towards God and authentic with each other; traditional in our beliefs and practices and addressing relevant issues.
4. We are credal and historical. We utilize the confessions of the universal church throughout the ages such as the Apostles and Nicene Creeds. We also incorporate historic practices such as the church calendar and elements of traditional liturgies, all within a Baptistic framework.
5. We are multi-generational. We encourage younger and older believers to worship and serve alongside one another, recognizing the value that each stage of life can bring to the church. We encourage families to fulfill their role as their children’s primary disciplers, and we welcome children in our church services.
