WHY MEMBERSHIP?

Membership is not a card-carrying country club. It means you're a committed part of a living organism. The church is "one body" comprised of "many members" (Rom. 8:4-5) that are bound to one another, depend on one another, and work with one another. Membership is a formal commitment to this gospel goal.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

1. Personal repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS?

Attend a New Members Class.

This is a two-hour class held at various times throughout the year. This does not require you to become a member or make you a member, but it is a great chance to learn more about what the mission and ministry of Darby Community Church looks like.

Get involved for three months.

This is a period for us to get to know you—and for you to get to know us! As you participate in the life of the congregation, seek the Lord's wisdom on whether Darby is the right church home for you and your family.

Schedule a meeting with one of our elders.

One of our elders will meet with you to hear your testimony and affirm a shared understand of the Gospel. After these three steps, new members will affirm their commitment to the purpose and people of Darby in a covenant relationship! If you're interested in becoming a member or if you have questions, please reach out to us at admin@darbycommunitychurch.com.
